Angela Vernon FdSc CBT MAPDT 01087 -
Owner / The Brains Behind Tail Tapping Antics

“Hi, I’m Angela, and I am the brains behind Tail Tapping Antics. I’ve had dogs since I was a tiny tot, and have always loved animals.  My family will describe me as Animal and dog mad.   I’m currently owned by a Border Collie called Jake, a Standard Poodle called Tigi and an Irish Water Spaniel called Eve.  I absolutely love my job, and enjoy meeting new canine friends, and people.  Helping to improve training standards & health and welfare of pets.”

“I have completed a City & Guilds in Canine Studies at Myerscough College, where I then continued to train to be a Dog Groomer for a year, obtaining professional ABC Awards Certification.  From then I recently graduated from Bishop Burton College with a FdSC degree in Canine Behaviour and Training.  Currently continuing with my Bsc. I have worked hard over the last 7 years to maintain the highest form of education to allow me to give correct and up to date advice.  I am a member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers) www.apdt.co.uk I have been assessed to a strict criteria in order to gain membership.  Member No: 01087″

When I’m at work you can usually find me out and about in the Tail Tapping Antics van picking up dogs to take on walks as well as feeding dogs within their homes. I also help Angela out with the dog washing and grooming in the salon when things get busy!”

“I thoroughly enjoy my job at Tail Tapping Antics and even though it can be challenging at times I feel I have learnt a lot from Angela; my knowledge of dog grooming and canine care has vastly progressed. I look forward to what the future of Tail Tapping Antics has in store for me.”

Holly loves the doggy walking service provided by Helen and Angela and we have them on a regular basis. Angela does a excellent grooming session and Holly looks wonderful after her wash and trim. Jane at Chorley(Holly)xx

I am Jade’s Auntie, and i would thoroughly recommend Angela, she gave us amazing tips on how dotty could lose weight and we put her on TTA senior light and extremely proud to say that she has lost a whopping 8kg in 3 months :) we was so pleased, her knowledge of dogs is beyond satisfactory, and her passion for dogs shows in her amazing work, keep up the good work girls :D
