Here is what some of our customers expressed out Tail Tapping Antics services.
Dog Training
We found Tail Tapping Antics after trying another training class, in which our puppy Tia spent the whole session hiding under the bench and shaking! This is a far cry from her reaction to Angela’s training classes – she can’t wait to get there and is visibly excited when she realises where we are going! Tia has come on in leaps and bounds since we started training with Angela. She was a very excitable puppy, verging on uncontrollable at times and the training sessions gave us a positive way to channel her energy. We started with the introductory course and now attend the drop-in sessions on a weekly basis. When we got our second puppy Sapphire, we booked her on the introductory course straight away with a view to starting when she was fully vaccinated. I also started to use Angela’s techniques with her as soon as we got her home and she soon became a model puppy! Angela uses only positive techniques, which help to create a happy, well behaved dog. I would recommend her to anyone. Victoria Atherton, Chorley.
Angela is an excellent trainer. She has a passion for dog training. We have done a basic dog obedience course with her and now go to her drop in sessions as often as we can. My young dog (Alfie) is a good all round dog now. Angela knows her subjects, advocates good practice through positive reinforcement. She will break things down to help you get the best results from what ever it is you are trying to do with your dog. I am glad we found Angela and we are very happy with her services. Craig Hobin, Chorley.
I spoke to Angela with regards to a one on one consultation with my dog, who is dog agressive. Angela met me in my local park, spent an hour walking around with me and my dog assessing us both in different situations, she even brought treats for my dog! She then said we would fit into her training classes, and didn’t even charge me for the one on one consultation!
Classes were excellent, everyone was very friendly, each dogs personality was taken into consideration, and dogs with problems were helped. Angela kept in touch with me via e-mail and phone calls, and let me know when she had a new service available. Excellent, can’t wait for your next training class! Heather Parkinson, Leyland.
We have known Angela in a professional capacity since July 2009. Angela has worked with ourselves to rehabilitate our Rescue dog. We began with one to one sessions. Angela visited our home, met our dog, took notes, assessed the dog and discussed our requirements with us. Angela offered us advice on caring for and training our dog. We then attended training session with a small group and have recently enrolled on a six week course, with a larger group of people and dogs, doing some basic training. Our dog is coping very well and improving all the time.
We have had other trainers work with us and the dog and although they offered some sound advice we didn’t manage to achieve the improvements that we have been able to achieve with Angela. We also found that Angela’s rates were very reasonable in comarison with other trainers, in some cases Angela charges 80% less. This is because Angela is dedicated to helping people help their canine companions.
Angela always uses positive reinforcements in her training methods and works in a caring and responsible manner. Angela is a great motivator and is never judgemental and we also have a lot of fun along the way. I have already recommended Angela to friends who are struggling with their dogs and will continue to recommend her.
At all times we have found Angela very friendly, professional and approachable. Mary Gleeson and Dave Lancaster, Leyland.
Dog Grooming
Hi Angela.
Just a quickie to say, Thank you for grooming Moonie! She looks absolutley gorgeous.
You’ve done a really great job. I’m so pleased. Here markings and colour have really come out but without her looking skinned. I like the way you’ve shaped her ears and left her tuftie top too. Somebody commented on her coat while we were out walking today. So thank you so much. I hope she was good for you. Speak soon. Take care. Caroline Mostyn, Leyland.
As a previous owner of a Pet Shop/Grooming Salon I know a little about what Angela’s about. I have used her sevices more than once and intend to use them on a regular basis. She comes prepared, she is always pleasent and efficient it is a pleasure to see her. My two dogs have never looked better. She has a deceptively efficient way to get my two to do exactly what she wants. Frank Griffiths, Chorley.

I would highly recommend Tail Tapping Antics for the positive approach and extremely caring nature and advice given. I have now used this company on two seperate occasions to groom both my cavalier king charles spaniels and highly reccomend them. The care was exeptional when angela was grooming my dogs and nothing was too much trouble for her. Thanks again angela i will certainly be using you again. Debra Green, Wigan.
I have used Tail Tapping Antics on more than one occasion for the Grooming and Training of my Yorkshire Terrier. I have found Angela to be very polite, friendly, and extremely thorough in her work. I would and have recommended her to all my dog loving friends! I have taken Alfie to many other groomers and not been as satisfied, Angela is excellent value for money and extremely good at her job! Joanne Smith, Chorley.
Dog Walking/Pet Sitting
I contacted Angela in Summer 2009 to provide a dog sitting service for our dog, Benny. Benny is a Heinz 57 with lots of staffy terrier in him. Benny came from a rescue shelter over 7 years ago. he is dearly loved and comes with lots of little traits, e.g. sitting and shaking if he can hear the wind rushing through the trees. He also requires daily medication for an allergic condition. I felt apprehensive about leaving him with a stranger. I must say that Angela is not a stranger to Benny for long. He even sits on the doormat at the same time each day waiting patiently, hoping that Angela might turn up. Angela has done a brilliant job with him and I have no hesitations in recommending Tail Tapping Antics services to any caring dog owner. I will certainly be using your services again. Thank you for a really professional job well done. Linda Doherty, Heskin.
We are very grateful for the care and attention that you gave to our dogs Lucy and Cleo whilst we were on vacation. They were very happy and seemed very content when we came home. In fact the bonus to us is that they now sleep down in their baskets together. I have been trying to do this since we adopted them last year. Once again thank you for your care and for a very professional service that you gave, being able to text you was definately a bonus to me. We will be recommending you to all our friends and colleagues and of course relatives, if they need their dogs or cats looking after. Drene & David Lee, Chorley.

When we brought home are border collie puppy Meg in February, a couple a months down the line it became clear that she was very hyperactive, we had tried another training centre but nothing changed her behaviour.
After a search on the internet we found a local dog training centre called “Tail Tapping Antics “ we liked the sound of it and speaking to Angela on the phone, we instantly felt that we had found someone professional and friendly and we couldn’t wait for the first session to start.
Angela is an excellent trainer she is patient with dogs and owners! She is never judgmental and makes her sessions interesting, fun and explains everything clearly.
Angela covers all aspects from training, grooming and nutrition to health problems, we discovered through Angela that Meg’s main problem was that we were feeding her the wrong food, when we changed the food we have noticed a BIG change in her behaviour.
Fast-forward to end of the 6 week course and we feel that we have learnt a lot. Meg is a much more quieter/sociable dog.
We have now started weekly agility classes which Meg looks forward to each week and gets really excited when she hears Angela’s name!
We would recommend Angela to anybody! she changes owners and dogs’lives for the better!

Training, Grooming & Food
When we brought our puppy, Gemma home at 13 weeks, she was a very timid puppy and seemed to have a dislike to men, in particular men with bald heads and she used to cower away from other dogs. A friend of mine recommended Angela so i gave her a call. I enrolled Gemma on a 6 week course and I have got to say she came on leaps and bounds. Her confidence grew and she seemed to respond well to the training techniques that Angela uses, and she soon picked up the basic commands, sit, stay, walk to heal, beg, etc. She now loves meeting other people and dogs.
Part of Angela’s course, covers food & nutrition. In response to this I also changed my cats food over from IAMS to James well beloved. They had a few problems (bad dandruff & regular infections of the anal glands) which I had never related to the food, but since changing their problems have cleared up.
Gemma was also in desperate need of a good haircut! I had tried 2 local groomers but Gemma just wasn’t having it, she would cower & snap at the groomers and I was beginning to think I was never going to be able to get her hair cut! But then I thought we could try Angela, as Gemma knew her from the classes. I have got to say Angela was fantastic! She put Gemma at ease and was very patient with her, we are now regular customers and Gemma always looks well groomed.
Since finishing the 6 week course, we have carried on going to the drop in classes as Gemma really enjoys going along and meeting her friends.
