Bite Prevention Workshops for the Professional

Very little training is given to pet professionals on reading / understanding / handling the pet dog, especially when they come into the salon to be groomed.

Working as a professional dog groomer for 9 years, I remember when I first started grooming.  I struggled with fidgety dogs and those that were aggressive.  Shortly after finishing my dog grooming qualification, I enrolled onto the Canine Behaviour and Training degree course at Bishop Burton.  After many years of hard work, experience, giving my free time to charities and observing dogs in different settings, I started to see posts online from other groomers asking for advice on ‘problem dogs’.  This made me realise that I do not get stressed out with grooming like I used to, because of all the skills I have learned, and that is were I can help you.

I have designed a workshop to help you with dogs with issues; understanding them and managing them to stop them getting stressed. As an experienced, qualified Dog Groomer and Dog Trainer, I am very lucky to be able to put my skill set together and share them with you in my Bite Prevention and Handling training workshop. For Pet Professionals all over, from Vet Nurses, Kennel Maids, Dog Groomers, Daycare Centres, Dog Walkers and Handlers.
